From Taksim Square, walk to the Taksim bus station which is about a 10-minute walk. Look for bus number 28 or 30, which will take you directly to Beşiktaş. Get off at the Beşiktaş stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Büyük Mecidiye Mosque. Head southwest on Barbaros Boulevard, then take a right on Mecidiye Street, and you will see the mosque on your left.

Take the T1 tram line from Kabataş Tram Station heading towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Beşiktaş stop. Once you arrive, walk toward the south on the street until you reach the intersection of Mecidiye Street. Turn left onto Mecidiye Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the Büyük Mecidiye Mosque.

If you are staying in Beşiktaş, you can easily walk to the mosque. From the Beşiktaş ferry terminal, head towards the main road (Mecidiye Street) and walk straight for about 15 minutes. The mosque will be on your right side, just after you cross the intersection.
