Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from Taksim Square, head to the Taksim Metro Station. Take the M2 line towards Yenikapı. Get off at the next stop, Şişhane Station. Once you exit the station, walk down towards the end of the street, turn right onto Meşrutiyet Caddesi and continue straight until you reach Balo Sokak. Turn left onto Balo Sokak, and you will find the Dogançay Museum at No:42 on your left.

  • Tram

    If you are near Sultanahmet, walk to the Sultanahmet Tram Station and take the T1 tram towards Kabataş. Get off at the next stop which is Karaköy. From Karaköy, walk uphill towards Taksim Square. When you reach Taksim Square, follow the directions provided for the Metro or walk straight down İstiklal Caddesi. Turn right onto Balo Sokak, and you will find the Dogançay Museum at No:42.

  • Walking

    If you're already in the Beyoğlu area, simply walk to Istiklal Caddesi. Once on Istiklal, head towards Taksim Square. As you walk, look out for Balo Sokak which is a smaller street on your right side. Turn onto Balo Sokak, and the Dogançay Museum will be located at No:42. It's a short and pleasant walk!

  • Bus

    From various parts of Istanbul, you can take a bus to Taksim Square. Once you arrive at Taksim, follow the same directions as provided for the Metro. Walk down to the Şişhane Metro Station, or directly make your way to Istiklal Caddesi and then follow the walking instructions to reach Balo Sokak.
