If you're starting from Taksim Square, take the funicular train from Taksim station to Kabataş. From Kabataş, transfer to the tram (T1 line) towards Bağcılar. Get off at the next stop, which is Fındıklı. From Fındıklı, you can walk to Maçka, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Meclisi Mebusan Caddesi, turn left onto Cumhuriyet Caddesi, and then continue straight until you reach Maçka.

From Taksim Square, you can take the bus number 28 or 30D towards Şişli. After a short ride, get off at the 'Maçka' bus stop. Maçka is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head towards Harbiye neighborhood, and you will reach Maçka in a few minutes.

If you're staying in the Şişli area, you can easily walk to Maçka. From the Şişli Metro station, head southwest on Abide-i Hürriyet Caddesi. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Cumhuriyet Caddesi. Turn left onto Cumhuriyet Caddesi and follow it straight to Maçka, which should take about 20 minutes on foot.
