Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are already in Taksim Square, head towards Taksim Avenue (Taksim Cd.) which is the main street leading from the square. Continue walking straight on Taksim Avenue for about 200 meters. You will pass various shops, cafes, and restaurants. Look for the number 2A on your left side, which is where Taksim Maksemi is located. It is a historical landmark, so it should be fairly easy to spot.

  • Public Transport (Funicular)

    If you are coming from Kabataş, you can take the funicular (F1 line) to Taksim. The funicular station in Kabataş is located near the waterfront. Once you reach Taksim Station, exit and walk directly to Taksim Avenue. From there, follow the previous walking instructions to reach Taksim Maksemi. The funicular ride costs approximately 15 TL (Turkish Lira).

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    If you are coming from the Şişli or Levent areas, take the M2 Metro line and get off at Taksim Station. From the metro exit, walk towards Taksim Square and then follow Taksim Avenue. Continue straight for about 200 meters and look for Taksim Maksemi at 2A on your left. The metro ticket costs around 15 TL.
