Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near Taksim Square, head to the Taksim Metro Station. Take the M2 line (the green line) towards Yenikapı. Get off at the next stop, which is Şişhane. From Şişhane station, take the exit towards the Galata Tower. Once you are out of the station, walk straight down Meşrutiyet Caddesi until you reach Bankalar Caddesi. Turn left onto Bankalar Caddesi, and you will find Salt Galata at No:11.

  • Bus

    Look for a bus stop near your location and take bus number 28 or 30D, which will take you towards Taksim. Get off at the Taksim Square stop. From Taksim Square, walk towards the Taksim Metro Station and follow the previous metro directions to Şişhane. Alternatively, you can walk downhill from Taksim Square along İstiklal Avenue until you reach the intersection with Bankalar Caddesi. Turn right onto Bankalar Caddesi and walk to No:11.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Beyoğlu area, you can simply walk to Salt Galata. Start from the Galata Tower, head towards the southeast down the hill on Bankalar Caddesi. Continue walking straight, and you will see Salt Galata at No:11 on your left-hand side. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Galata Tower.

  • Tram

    If you are located near the historic Sultanahmet area, take the T1 tram line from Sultanahmet tram stop towards Kabataş. Get off at the Karaköy tram stop. From there, walk up to Galata Bridge, cross the bridge, and continue straight to the Galata Tower. From the tower, follow the walking directions provided previously to reach Salt Galata at No:11.
