Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearby town of Kaş. Drive east on the D400 highway for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs to Beymelek Lagoon as you approach the town of Kalkan. Turn onto the road leading to the lagoon, which is well-marked. The lagoon is located roughly 3 kilometers off the main road. Be cautious of the narrow roads and local traffic. Parking is available near the lagoon.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a bus from Kaş to Kalkan. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Kalkan, you can either take a taxi to Beymelek Lagoon or ask locals for the direction to the lagoon. The taxi ride will cost around 100-150 Turkish Lira (subject to change). If you're feeling adventurous, you can also rent a bicycle in Kalkan to ride the 8 kilometers to the lagoon.

If you're already in Kalkan and prefer walking, you can hike to Beymelek Lagoon. The hike is approximately 8 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the scenic coastal paths that lead towards the lagoon. Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
