Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the center of Kaş. From the main road (D400), take the exit towards Kaş and follow the signs to the town center. Once in Kaş, follow the road signs to Andifli neighborhood. Look for Süleyman Sandıkçı Street where Republic Square is located. There is limited parking near the square, so be prepared to park slightly away from the area and walk a short distance.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Republic Square by public transport, catch a bus from any major town in Lycia heading towards Kaş. The bus will drop you off at the Kaş bus terminal. From there, you can either walk to Republic Square, which is about a 15-minute stroll through the town, or catch a local dolmuş (minibus) that goes towards the Andifli neighborhood. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Süleyman Sandıkçı Street.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Kaş town center, walking is a pleasant option. Head towards the coastline on Atatürk Boulevard, then turn right onto Süleyman Sandıkçı Street. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Republic Square. This walk allows you to enjoy the local shops and cafes along the way.

• Taxi

  You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Kaş to Republic Square. Taxis are readily available and can be flagged down on the street or booked via a local taxi service. The fare should be reasonable, typically around 20-30 Turkish Lira depending on your starting point. Make sure to clarify the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter.
