Travel Guide to Beyazıt

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can navigate to Beyazıt, located in the Fatih district of Istanbul. From the city center, head towards the D100 highway (known as E-5). Follow the D100 heading towards the city center until you reach the Fatih district. Once in Fatih, follow signs for 'Beyazıt' and park in one of the nearby parking facilities, as street parking may be limited. Be aware of potential tolls on the highways if coming from other cities in the Marmara Region.

• Public Transportation (Metro)

  To reach Beyazıt via public transportation, you can take the Istanbul Metro. Board the M2 metro line at any station and travel towards Yenikapı. Change at the Yenikapı station to the M1A line towards Atatürk Airport, and get off at the 'Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı' station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to Beyazıt Square. The metro ticket costs around 15 TL. Make sure to have an Istanbulkart for easy transfers and access to all public transport.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer to travel by bus, various city buses head to Beyazıt from different locations in the Marmara Region. You can catch a bus at major transit points such as Taksim or Kadıköy. Look for buses with routes that specifically mention 'Beyazıt.' The fare for a bus ride is approximately 15 TL, and you will need an Istanbulkart. Once you arrive at the Beyazıt bus stop, the main attractions are easily accessible on foot.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi to Beyazıt. Taxis are available throughout Istanbul and can be flagged down or booked via mobile apps. The fare will depend on your starting location and traffic conditions, but expect to pay between 50 to 150 TL depending on distance. Taxis are a good option for groups or if you have luggage.
