The Enchanting Dancing Fountain of Marmaris

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Marmaris, start at the Marmaris Marina. From the marina, head east along the coastline promenade towards Atatürk Caddesi. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Atatürk Caddesi (approximately 10 minutes). Turn left onto Atatürk Caddesi and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the main square (Cumhuriyet Meydanı). The Dancing Fountain is located near the square, in Kemeraltı neighborhood. Look for the fountain in the square; it is a popular attraction and hard to miss.

• Public Transport (Dolmuş)

  From any point in Marmaris, find a dolmuş (minibus) that is heading towards the city center. Dolmuşes are frequent and can be caught from various points around the town. Once you get on, ask the driver to drop you off at 'Kemeraltı' or 'Cumhuriyet Meydanı.' The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. After getting off, the Dancing Fountain is just a short walk away in the square. Follow the signs or ask locals if you need further directions.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more private and comfortable option, you can take a taxi from your current location in Marmaris to the Dancing Fountain. Simply request the driver to take you to 'Kemeraltı' or 'Cumhuriyet Meydanı.' The taxi ride should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive at the square, you will see the Dancing Fountain nearby.
