Car
If you are driving from the main road to Mount Nemrut, take the D300 highway towards Kahta. After reaching Kahta, follow the signs for 'Nemrut Dagi.' Continue on the road until the turn-off for Karakuş Tumulus, which is approximately 10 km before you reach the summit of Mount Nemrut. The site is well-marked, and you will find a parking area nearby. Note that there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
From Kahta, you can take a shared taxi (dolmuş) towards Mount Nemrut. Inform the driver that you want to visit Karakuş Tumulus. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the drop-off point, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the Tumulus itself. Be sure to confirm with the driver about the return schedule to avoid being stranded.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Mount Nemrut and prefer to walk to Karakuş Tumulus, start from the main path leading up to Mount Nemrut. As you approach the Tumulus, there will be signs directing you to the site. The walk is scenic but can be steep in certain areas, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
