Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you're driving from the center of Ölüdeniz, head southeast on Ölüdeniz Blv toward the beach. Continue until you reach the Ölüdeniz Tabiat Parkı entrance. There is a parking area available near the entrance, but please note that parking may incur a small fee (approximately 20-30 Turkish Lira). From the parking area, follow the signs to the Blue Lagoon, which is just a short walk away.
Public Transportation (Dolmuş)
Catch a dolmuş (shared minibus) from the main dolmuş station in Ölüdeniz. These minibuses frequently run to the Ölüdeniz Tabiat Parkı. The fare is generally around 10-15 Turkish Lira. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Blue Lagoon stop. Once you arrive, follow the short path leading to the entrance of the lagoon. Be sure to check the dolmuş schedule for return trips.
Walking
If you're staying in a hotel or accommodation within Ölüdeniz, you can easily walk to the Blue Lagoon. From the beach, head towards the Ölüdeniz Tabiat Parkı entrance, which is well-marked. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as some paths may be uneven.
