From the center of Pamukkale, start by heading south towards the main road (D585). As you reach the road, turn left and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Honaz. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a sign indicating Schildkrötensee (Turtle Lake). Follow the sign and take the dirt path that leads to the lake. The walk will take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Bus
From Pamukkale village, head to the Pamukkale bus station, which is located near the main entrance of the travertines. Look for the local buses heading to Honaz. Purchase your ticket from the ticket booth. The ride to Honaz takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Honaz, ask the driver to let you off at Schildkrötensee (Turtle Lake). After getting off, it’s a short 10-minute walk following the signs along the dirt road to the lake.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Pamukkale. Once you have your bike, head south towards the main road (D585). Turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs towards Honaz. The ride will take roughly 5-10 minutes. After reaching the sign for Schildkrötensee, park your bike in the designated area and take a short walk down the dirt path to the lake.
