Getting There

Walking
From the center of Pamukkale, head towards the main road (Karahayit Street). Follow the street until you reach the entrance to Pamukkale National Park. This is a well-marked path, and you will see signs directing you to Hierapolis. Once inside the park, continue straight through the park and take the path that leads you up the hill towards the ancient city of Hierapolis. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes, and you will be surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. As you approach Hierapolis, you will see the ruins, including the impressive Hierapolis Bazilika, which is located towards the upper part of the site.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, you can rent one from various rental shops in Pamukkale. Start from the main square and head towards the entrance of Pamukkale National Park. The cycling path is paved and fairly easy to navigate. Once inside the park, follow the signs to Hierapolis. It is approximately a 10-15 minute ride from the entrance of the park to the Bazilika. Be mindful of pedestrians along the path.
