If you are driving from the city of Nevşehir, take the D300 highway towards Avanos. After approximately 10 km, follow the signs to Avanos and turn left onto the road leading into the town. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach Çavuşin. Upon entering Çavuşin, look for Vadiler Sk. (Valleys Street) on your right. The St. John the Baptist Chapel is located at 2. Küme, Vadiler Sk., 50502 Çavuşin/Avanos/Nevşehir. There is parking available nearby.

From Nevşehir city center, you can take a bus to Avanos. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Avanos bus terminal, you can either take a taxi to Çavuşin or walk approximately 2 km to the chapel. If you choose to walk, head east on the main road until you see signs for Çavuşin. Once in Çavuşin, turn onto Vadiler Sk. and the chapel will be at 2. Küme. The bus fare is typically around 15 TL.
