If you are driving to Bozcaada Castle from Troad, start by heading towards the Çanakkale province. Take the D550 highway towards Çanakkale. Once you reach the city center of Çanakkale, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. You will need to take a ferry from Çanakkale to Bozcaada. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Bozcaada, drive towards Alaybey. The castle is located in Alaybey and is well-signposted. Look for parking areas nearby.

To reach Bozcaada Castle using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Troad. Take a bus to Çanakkale, which runs frequently. Once you arrive in Çanakkale, walk to the ferry terminal which is within walking distance from the bus station. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Bozcaada. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you disembark on Bozcaada, you can either walk to the castle, which is a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal, or take a local taxi directly to Alaybey where the castle is located.
