If you are driving from central Uludag, head southwest on the main road. Follow the signs for Osmangazi and continue on the D575 highway. After about 12 kilometers, take the exit towards Karaislah. Once you enter the village, follow the local signs directing you to Aras şelalesi. The waterfall is located at the address Karaislah, 35HC+C4, 16375 Osmangazi/Bursa. There is usually no parking fee, but be mindful of roadside parking rules.
Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a bus from the Uludag main bus station to Bursa city center. From there, transfer to a local bus heading towards Osmangazi. Disembark at the Karaislah stop. From the bus stop, you can either walk (approximately 2 kilometers) to Aras şelalesi or arrange for a local taxi. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route without public transport transfers, you can hire a taxi from any location in Uludag to Aras şelalesi. The trip should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic and weather conditions. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey; it may range from 100 to 150 Turkish Lira.
Hiking
For the adventurous, if you are already in the vicinity of Uludag National Park, you can opt for a hiking route. Start from the nearest hiking trails in the park and follow the marked paths leading to Karaislah. Make sure to carry a map or use a GPS device, as some paths may not be well-marked.
