    Walking

    If you are starting from the Mary Train Station, exit the station and head south on Türkmenbaşy Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Galkynyş Street. Turn left onto Galkynyş Street and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the large Independence Monument ahead, located in a park area.

    From Mary City Center (near the main bazaar), start at the bazaar and head southeast on Berdimuhamed Annayev Street. Walk for approximately 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Galkynyş Street. Turn right and continue for about 300 meters. The Independence Monument will be visible in the park straight ahead.

    If you are at the Mary Museum of History, exit the museum and head north on Galkynyş Street. Walk for around 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Türkmenbaşy Street. Turn right and walk for about 200 meters. The Independence Monument will be on your left, situated in a landscaped area.
