Car
If you are driving from central Sumbar Valley, head northwest on the main road towards Ashgabat. Follow the signs for Ashgabat and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you enter Ashgabat, keep an eye out for Arçabil şaýoly, which is a major road in the city. Turn onto Arçabil şaýoly and continue for about 5 kilometers. The Independence Monument will be on your right. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Independence Monument using public transport, take a local bus or shared taxi from Sumbar Valley to Ashgabat. Buses and taxis depart frequently from designated stations in Sumbar Valley. The fare is typically around 5-10 TMT. Once you arrive in Ashgabat, head towards the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading to the city center. Get off at a stop near Arçabil şaýoly. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) along Arçabil şaýoly to the Independence Monument, which will be on your left.
