Turn left onto Long Bay Highway. Stay on this road for about 1 kilometer, then take a right onto a small unmarked road that leads towards Cottage Pond. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at Cottage Pond, located at TKCA 1ZZ.

Take a local bus or taxi from Malcolm's Road Beach to the nearest bus stop along Long Bay Highway. Buses are typically available on a flexible schedule, but you may need to wait for a few minutes. Inform the driver that you intend to visit Cottage Pond. Once you reach the Long Bay Highway bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 500 meters towards the direction of Cottage Pond. Look for the unmarked road that leads toward your destination.

For those staying close to Malcolm's Road Beach, you can walk to Cottage Pond. Start at the beach and head north on Malcolm's Road. After about 2.5 kilometers, you will reach Long Bay Highway. Carefully cross the highway and take the small unmarked road that leads to Cottage Pond. It is about a 500-meter walk from the highway to the pond.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop near Malcolm's Road Beach. Head north on Malcolm's Road for 2.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Long Bay Highway. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer and then take the right onto the small unmarked road. Cottage Pond will be about 500 meters down this road. Ensure to wear a helmet and be cautious while cycling on the roads.
