Walking
If you are starting from the main village of Funafuti, head towards the beach front where the main road runs parallel to the coastline. Walk towards the southeast direction along the main road. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean on your right side. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the end of the village. At this point, you will see a sign that indicates the entrance to the Funafuti Conservation Area on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Funafuti. Once you have your bicycle, start from the center of the village and head towards the main road along the coast. Cycle southeast, keeping the ocean on your right. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Look out for a sign on your left that marks the entrance to the Funafuti Conservation Area. Ensure your bike is locked if you plan to explore on foot.
Boat
If you are in the vicinity of the lagoon, consider taking a local boat. Speak with local fishermen or tour operators who may offer rides to the conservation area. Ensure you arrange a return trip as well. The boat ride typically takes around 10 minutes. Once you reach, you will be dropped off near the main entrance to the conservation area.
