    If you are driving from any location in Ankole, head towards the Kabale-Mbarara road (also known as the Rukungiri-Mbarara road). Continue driving until you reach the intersection with the Masaka road. Turn onto the Masaka road and keep following the signs towards Kayabwe. The Uganda Equator is located in Kayabwe, approximately 12 kilometers from the turn-off. Look for the signs directing you to the Equator, and you will find it on the left side of the road at X2VP+M6, Plot 24 Kikutuzi-Mpigi District.

    Public Transportation (Matatu)

    To reach the Uganda Equator via public transport, find a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Masaka from your location in Ankole. Make sure to confirm that the matatu stops in Kayabwe.
