Getting There

By Car

From Kampala, drive southwest on the Kabale-Katuna Rd towards Kabale. Continue on this road passing through Kabale town. Once in Kabale, follow signs towards Kisoro. Lake Bunyonyi is located approximately 8km from Kabale town. Follow the signs and turn off the main road towards Lake Bunyonyi. The road is mostly paved but can be narrow and winding in some parts.
By Public Transportation

From Kampala, take a bus or taxi to Kabale. Once in Kabale, there are minibusses or boda bodas (motorcycle taxis) that can take you to Lake Bunyonyi. You can also hire a private taxi for the journey.
