Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kampala, take the Kampala-Entebbe Road (A104). Head southwest for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for Kawuku. Turn right onto Kawuku-Kakindo Road, and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. The wetland will be on your right, easily visible from the road.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kampala, take a taxi (matatu) heading towards Entebbe. The fare is usually around 2,000 to 3,000 UGX. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Kawuku. Once you reach Kawuku, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers down Kawuku-Kakindo Road to reach the wetland.
