If you're in central Kampala, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops. Start by heading towards Entebbe Road, which is well marked. From the city center, make your way to the junction at the Clock Tower. Turn onto Entebbe Road and continue cycling straight for approximately 35 kilometers. You will pass various landmarks including the Uganda Museum and several local markets. Once you reach the entrance of the Entebbe Botanical Garden, which is on the left side of the road, park your bicycle and enjoy the gardens.

From the center of Kampala, start walking towards the Clock Tower. Once you reach the Clock Tower, take the path that leads to Entebbe Road. This is a long walk, approximately 35 kilometers, and may take several hours, so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. As you walk, you can enjoy the local scenery and culture until you reach the entrance of the Entebbe Botanical Garden on your left.

To get to the Entebbe Botanical Garden from central Kampala, take a minibus (commonly known as a 'tuktuk') from the Kampala Old Taxi Park. Look for the buses that have 'Entebbe' written on them. The fare is usually around 2,000-3,000 UGX. The journey will take about 45 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the Entebbe Botanical Garden. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the entrance located on the left side of the road.
