Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kampala. Head east on Jinja Road (A-1) towards Jinja. After approximately 2.5 km, take the exit for Kira Road. Follow Kira Road for about 5 km. As you enter Kira, look for signs that direct you towards Kira Lane. Turn left onto Kira Lane. Asante Art Gallery will be on your right after about 1 km. Ensure your GPS is updated for the most accurate route.
Matatu (Public Minibus)
To reach Asante Art Gallery via public transport, take a matatu from the city center that heads towards Kira. You can find these matatus at the old taxi park. The fare is typically around 1,000 UGX. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Kira Lane. From there, walk approximately 1 km down Kira Lane until you reach the gallery, which will be on your right.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
For a quicker and more direct option, consider taking a boda boda. You can hire one from any major road in Kampala. Ensure you negotiate a fare before starting your journey; it should range between 5,000 - 10,000 UGX from the city center to Kira Lane. Inform the rider to take you to Asante Art Gallery on Kira Lane.

If you're staying nearby in Kira or are able to walk from a matatu drop-off point, you can reach Asante Art Gallery by walking along Kira Lane. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Kira Road junction. Simply head southeast on Kira Lane, and the gallery will be on your right.
