If you're driving, start from any location in Central Region and head toward Kampala. Use Google Maps or a local map to navigate to Ben Kiwanuka Road in Kampala Central Division. As you approach the city center, look for signs indicating 'Kampala Central' and 'Ben Kiwanuka Road'. Once you reach Ben Kiwanuka Road, look for Master Plaza which is located directly on this road. Parking might be available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees that can range from 1,000 to 5,000 UGX per hour.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
To reach Master Plaza using public transport, locate a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Kampala from your location in Central Region. Ensure the matatu is labeled for Kampala Central. Upon arriving in Kampala, disembark at the main taxi park (Kampala Taxi Park). From the park, you can either walk or take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Ben Kiwanuka Road. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes. If you opt for a boda boda, expect to pay around 2,000 to 5,000 UGX depending on the distance.
Boda Boda
If you're already within Kampala or close to Ben Kiwanuka Road, you can easily hire a boda boda to take you directly to Master Plaza. Simply flag one down and tell the rider you want to go to Master Plaza on Ben Kiwanuka Road. The fare is usually around 3,000 to 7,000 UGX depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.
Walking
For those already in the vicinity, walking to Master Plaza is a viable option. If you're at the Kampala Taxi Park, exit the park and head towards Ben Kiwanuka Road. Walk straight until you see Master Plaza on your left. This should take about 15-20 minutes, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
