Car
If you are driving from Jinja, take the Jinja-Kamuli road (A-4) heading towards Kamuli. After approximately 20 kilometers, turn left onto the Kamuli-Mayuge road. Continue for about 35 kilometers, and you will reach the outskirts of Mayuge district. Look for signs directing you to Butangala village. The final stretch will involve navigating local roads; ensure you have a GPS or a map application handy for precise directions to the coordinates CG2W+J6H.
Public Transportation
From Jinja, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) or a bus heading to Kamuli. Once in Kamuli, you will need to transfer to another matatu that goes to Mayuge. Inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Butangala village. The fare from Jinja to Kamuli is approximately 5,000 UGX, and from Kamuli to Mayuge, it will be around 3,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Mayuge, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) for a short ride to the coordinates CG2W+J6H.

If you are already in Mayuge, local boda-boda drivers can take you directly to Butangala b. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically ranges from 5,000 to 10,000 UGX depending on the distance and conditions of the roads. Ensure you agree on a price before starting your journey.
