Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Jinja city. Head east on the Jinja-Kamuli Road (A109) for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction for the Itanda Falls Road. Turn left onto Itanda Falls Road and continue for about 7 km. Follow the signs to the Nyege Nyege location, which is at RF88+MM7, Itanda. The last part of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
To reach Nyege Nyege using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Jinja to Itanda. Matatus leave frequently from the Jinja Bus Terminal, and the fare is typically around 2,000 UGX per person. Once you arrive in Itanda, you'll need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you the remaining distance to Nyege Nyege, which should cost around 5,000 UGX.
Boda Boda
If you're already in Itanda, you can hire a boda boda directly to Nyege Nyege. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be about 5,000 to 10,000 UGX depending on your starting point in Itanda. The boda boda will navigate the local roads to bring you directly to RF88+MM7, where Nyege Nyege is located.
Walking (for short distances)
If you are already nearby, you can walk to Nyege Nyege. Look for local signage that directs you to RF88+MM7, Itanda. It may be a short walk, but ensure you have a map or ask locals for directions to ensure you are on the right path.
