Car
If you are driving from Kampala, take the Jinja Road (A- 109) towards Jinja. After about 80 kilometers, you will reach Jinja. Once in Jinja, continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the Jinja Bridge. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Kimaka Road. TMU Rafting is located along this road, approximately 3 kilometers from the roundabout. Look for signage indicating TMU Rafting.
Public Transportation
To reach TMU Rafting using public transport from Kampala, you can take a bus or a shared taxi (matatu) heading to Jinja. These leave frequently from various stages in Kampala such as the Usafi Market or the New Taxi Park. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at the Jinja Taxi Park, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to Kimaka Road. The fare for a boda boda to TMU Rafting should be around 1,000 to 3,000 UGX (Ugandan Shillings).

If you are already in Jinja and prefer a quicker option, hire a boda boda from your current location to TMU Rafting. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 2,000-5,000 UGX depending on the distance. Always wear a helmet and ensure that the motorcycle taxi is registered.
