Car
If you are driving from Jinja, take the main road heading towards Kampala (Jinja-Kampala Road). After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs to Bukaya. Turn onto the road heading towards Bukaya and continue straight. You will see signs for Source of the Nile Gardens. Zip The Nile is located within the Source of the Nile Gardens, at the address C5CV+QGP, Bukaya. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Zip The Nile by public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Jinja to Bukaya. Matatus frequently depart from Jinja town and the fare is approximately UGX 2,000. Once you arrive in Bukaya, ask the conductor or local residents for directions to Source of the Nile Gardens. The entrance to the gardens is a short walk from the matatu drop-off point. Be prepared to pay a small entrance fee to the gardens, which is usually around UGX 5,000.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Jinja and cycle to Bukaya. The route follows the Jinja-Kampala Road, which is well-traveled.
