Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Mbale, take the Jinja-Mbale Road (A-109). After about an hour of travel, you will reach the roundabout in Jinja. Take the first exit onto the Jinja-Kamuli Road (A-109). Continue for about 3 km, then turn left onto the Nile Avenue. Follow this road for approximately 2 km, and you will see Nile River Explorers on your left. Look for the sign indicating 'Nile River Explorers' as you approach.

• Public Transportation - Taxi

  From Mbale, head to the main taxi park and board a taxi heading to Jinja. The fare is usually around 15,000 UGX. Once you arrive at the Jinja taxi park, you can take a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 5,000 UGX to Nile River Explorers. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly. The ride should take about 10 minutes.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a bus from various towns in Eastern Region to Jinja. Buses leave frequently, and the fare is generally around 25,000 UGX. Once you arrive at the Jinja bus terminal, walk to the nearest taxi park. From there, catch a boda boda for approximately 5,000 UGX to Nile River Explorers, which is about 10 minutes away.

• Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

  If you're already in Jinja, you can simply hire a boda boda to take you to Nile River Explorers. The cost is around 5,000 UGX, and the ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start your journey.
