    Car Rental

    If you're starting your journey from Jinja, take the Jinja-Kamuli Road (Bujagali Road) and head northwest towards Kamuli. After approximately 30 km, turn right onto the Kampala-Jinja Road (A-4). Continue on this road for about 80 km until you reach the junction near Njeru. Turn left to stay on the Kampala-Jinja Road and keep going for about 60 km until you reach Kayabwe. The Uganda Equator is located on the right side of the road, marked with a large sign for photo opportunities.

    Public Transportation (Taxi)

    From Jinja, you can take a shared taxi from the main taxi park heading to Kampala. The fare is around 10,000 UGX. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Uganda Equator. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm with the driver when you board that they can drop you off at the correct location.

    Public Transportation (Boda Boda)

    For a more local experience, you can hire a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) from Jinja to the Uganda Equator.
