There are parking facilities available at the entrance. Ensure to have some cash on hand for the entrance fee, which is typically around 20,000 UGX per person.

Public Transportation
Begin your journey by taking a taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) from Elgon town to the nearest taxi stage. Look for a taxi heading towards Budadiri. Once you arrive at Budadiri, you can either walk the remaining 15 kilometers to the Mount Elgon Forest Reserve entrance or hire a local boda-boda for about 5,000 UGX to take you directly to the entrance. Remember to confirm the fare before starting the ride.
