Car
If you are driving, start from Mbale town and head towards the Sipi Falls area. Take the Mbale - Kapchorwa road (A109) for about 20 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Sipi Falls; you will turn left onto a smaller road leading to the falls. Continue on this road for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the Sipi Falls gate. Ensure to park your car at the designated area.
Public Transportation
To reach Sipi Falls using public transport, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mbale town to Kapchorwa. The matatus leave from the main taxi park. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Kapchorwa, look for a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Sipi Falls. The boda-boda ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
