If you are traveling by car, start from Mbale town center. Head northeast on Nandi Road, then turn left onto the Mbale-Budadiri Road (also known as the Budadiri-Mbale Road). Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the Three Waterfalls Campsite, which is located near the entrance to the Sipi Falls area. Upon reaching the campsite, you will find parking facilities available.
Public Transportation
To reach Three Waterfalls Campsite using public transportation, take a taxi or a 'matatu' (shared minibus) from Mbale town to Budadiri. The fare is typically around 3,000 UGX per person. Once in Budadiri, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you directly to the campsite. The boda-boda ride should cost approximately 5,000 UGX. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to the Three Waterfalls Campsite, as it is a known destination in the area.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenic route, you can start from Budadiri. From the center of Budadiri, head towards the Sipi Falls area on foot.
