Walking
From the center of Jinja, walk towards the Nile Bridge. Head northeast on Main Street and continue onto Nile Avenue. After crossing the bridge, you will see signs directing you to Kimaka Road. Turn left onto Kimaka Road and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. TMU Rafting will be on your right side, look for the signage indicating the rafting location.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jinja. Start at Jinja Market and head northeast on Main Street, continuing onto Nile Avenue. Cross the Nile Bridge, then keep an eye out for Kimaka Road. Turn left onto Kimaka Road and cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers. TMU Rafting will be on your right. Ensure your bike is well-maintained for a smooth ride.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
For a quicker option, take a boda boda from your location in Jinja. Ask the driver to take you to TMU Rafting on Kimaka Road. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Public Transport (Matatu)
You can catch a matatu (shared taxi) from various points in Jinja. Look for one heading towards Kimaka. Once you board, tell the conductor that you are going to TMU Rafting. The matatu will drop you off near Kimaka Road. From there, it's a short walk of about 5 minutes to reach TMU Rafting.
