If you are starting from the Jinja Main Market, head east along Main Street. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jinja-Kamuli Road. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers until you see the sign for Uganda Railway Museum on your left. The museum is located just off the road.

From the Jinja Main Market, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Cycle east along Main Street for approximately 1 kilometer. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Jinja-Kamuli Road. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the Uganda Railway Museum sign on your left, just off Jinja-Kamuli Road.

From any point in Jinja, you can take a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) to Uganda Railway Museum. Simply tell the driver 'Uganda Railway Museum' or direct them to Jinja-Kamuli Road.
