    If you are starting from the Kampala city center (e.g., near the Uganda Museum), head north on Dewinton Road towards Jinja Road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Nasser Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nasser Road, which will lead you towards the Old Taxi Park. Continue on this road until you reach the Old Taxi Park. From the Old Taxi Park, look for the taxis heading to Kawempe. You can take a shared taxi (matatu) to Kawempe. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Kawempe junction. From there, walk along Hill Road for about 10-15 minutes, and you will find the entrance to the Botany Botanical Garden on your right.

    From the Kampala city center, make your way to the Old Taxi Park and board a matatu heading to Kawempe. The fare is usually very affordable. After approximately 20 minutes, alight at the Kawempe junction. Once you exit the matatu, walk along Hill Road for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see the Botany Botanical Garden on your right. Look for the entrance marked with signs.
