Getting There

Bicycle
If you are starting from the center of Kampala, first head towards Jinja Road (also known as A-1 Road). Continue along this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of Lugazi. Once in Lugazi, ask locals for directions to Griffin Falls Camp, which is located near the CXP3+RGV area. The camp is well-known, so people should be able to guide you directly to it.

Matatu (Shared Minibus)
From the center of Kampala, head to the nearest matatu stage and look for a matatu heading to Jinja. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Lugazi. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Lugazi, ask around for Griffin Falls Camp. It is a popular spot, so locals will easily point you in the right direction.

Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
To reach Griffin Falls Camp quickly, consider taking a boda boda from Kampala. Head to a nearby boda boda stage and tell the rider that you want to go to Lugazi, specifically near the CXP3+RGV area. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your trip, and once you arrive in Lugazi, the rider can take you directly to Griffin Falls Camp.

Walking to Griffin Falls Camp is not advisable due to the distance from Kampala (about 20 kilometers) and the lack of pedestrian pathways. However, if you find yourself in Lugazi, you can walk to the camp from the town center. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to CXP3+RGV.
