Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of Kampala, start at the famous Uganda Museum, located on Kira Road. Head south on Kira Road until you reach the junction with Nile Avenue. Turn left onto Nile Avenue and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ternan Avenue. Continue on Ternan Avenue for about 5 minutes, and you will find Sheraton Gardens on your right.

  • Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

    Find a nearby boda boda stage, which are typically located throughout the city. Tell the rider that you want to go to Sheraton Gardens, located at Ternan Avenue, Nile Avenue. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off directly at the entrance of the gardens.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    Head to the nearest matatu stage and look for a matatu heading towards the city center. Get off at the central taxi park. From the taxi park, walk towards the main road and look for a matatu that goes towards Kira Road or Jinja Road. Get off at Nile Avenue and walk towards Ternan Avenue. Sheraton Gardens will be on your left after a 5-minute walk.
