Car
If you are driving from Kampala, take the Jinja Road (A-1) heading east. After about 10 km, take the exit towards Mukono. Continue on the Mukono road for approximately 15 km, then take a left turn onto the Kamuli Road (B-2). Drive for about 20 km, and you will see signs directing you to Nyakatugunda. Follow the signs for an additional 5 km until you reach the village. Parking is available near the village hall.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
From Kampala, head to the main bus terminal (Nakasero or Nyabugogo). Look for a matatu heading to Mukono. The fare is approximately 2,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Mukono, transfer to another matatu heading to Kamuli. This leg of the journey will cost around 3,000 UGX. After reaching Kamuli, you can either take a boda-boda (motorbike taxi) or walk to Nyakatugunda, which is about 5 km away. The boda-boda fare is about 5,000 UGX.
Boda-Boda from Mukono
If you prefer to take a boda-boda directly from Mukono instead of transferring to Kamuli, you can find one at the Mukono matatu stage. The ride to Nyakatugunda will cost approximately 10,000 UGX and will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
