Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Naguru area, you can reach Kailor by walking. Start by heading to the main road in Naguru. From there, proceed to the junction at Naguru Hill Road and head towards the direction of Nakawa. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Nakawa. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kampala-Jinja Road. Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, keep an eye out for local shops and eateries that can provide refreshments along the way. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for the turnoff on your left, which leads to 8HXM+22J. Follow this path until you reach Kailor.

• Boda Boda

  For a quicker option, you can hire a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) from any location in Naguru. Simply ask a local to direct you to the nearest Boda Boda stage. Once you find a Boda Boda, inform the rider that you want to go to 8HXM+22J, Kampala, near Kailor. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The cost for the ride is typically between 2,000 to 5,000 UGX, but be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

• Public Transport (Matatu)

  You can also take a Matatu (shared minibus) from Naguru to your destination. Head to the nearest Matatu stage in Naguru and look for one heading to Kawempe or Nakawa. Board the Matatu and inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop nearest to 8HXM+22J. The ride will cost approximately 1,000 to 2,000 UGX. After disembarking, you may need to walk for about 10 minutes to reach Kailor, following local directions or using your phone’s map for assistance.
