    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Kabale city, take the Rukungiri-Kabale road (A404) heading east towards Rukungiri. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach a junction at Lukalu. Turn left at this junction and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. The CTC Conservation Center is located on your right, marked by a sign. Parking is available on-site.

    Public Transportation

    From Kabale, board a taxi (shared minibus) heading towards Rukungiri. The taxi fare is approximately UGX 3,000-5,000. Inform the driver to drop you off at Lukalu junction. Once you alight, walk about 5 kilometers along the road towards the CTC Conservation Center. It is advisable to ask locals for directions as you walk to ensure you are on the right path.

    Bicycle

    For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Kabale is a great option. Follow the same route as driving by taking the Rukungiri-Kabale road (A404) towards Lukalu. It is about a 35-kilometer ride to the junction where you will turn left and continue for another 5 kilometers to reach the CTC Conservation Center. Ensure you have sufficient water and snacks for the ride.
