Car
If you are driving from Kigezi, head northeast on the main road towards Kampala. Follow the signs to Kampala city center. Once you reach Kampala, continue towards Rubaga Division. Look for Lubiri Ring Road; Kabaka's Palace is located along this road. There is ample parking available near the palace.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
From Kigezi, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Kampala. These matatus can be found at various stages in Kigezi. Once you arrive in Kampala, you can take another matatu or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Rubaga Division. Request to be dropped off at Lubiri Ring Road where Kabaka's Palace is located. The cost for the matatu from Kigezi to Kampala is around 10,000 UGX, and the local transport in Kampala will cost approximately 2,000 to 5,000 UGX.
Boda-Boda
If you're already in Kampala and prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda-boda to take you directly to Kabaka's Palace. Simply tell the driver 'Kabaka's Palace on Lubiri Ring Road.' Ensure to agree on a fare before starting the journey; the average cost is around 10,000 UGX depending on your starting point in Kampala.
