Getting There

    From the center of Kigezi, head east on the Kabale-Kisoro Road. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Kisoro. From Kisoro, take the Kabale-Mbarara Road and drive for about 40 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe, which is located on the left side of the road. The exact coordinates are approximately 0.000075 latitude and 32.0395568 longitude. The journey should take around 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

    Start at the main taxi park in Kabale. Board a taxi heading towards Mbarara. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Uganda Equator near Kayabwe.
