    Start at the central Masaka bus park. From the bus park, head east on Station Road until you reach the intersection with Kampala Road. Turn left onto Kampala Road and continue until you reach the Masaka roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Ggaba Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the main junction connecting to Gulu - Patiko Rd. Here, you can ask locals for directions to Fort Patiko, which is approximately 6 kilometers away from the junction. Continue walking along Gulu - Patiko Rd, and you'll find Fort Patiko on your left.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Masaka. Begin at the Masaka bus park and proceed east on Station Road until you reach the junction with Kampala Road. Turn left and ride along Kampala Road until you reach the Masaka roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Ggaba Road. Ride straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Gulu - Patiko Rd. From here, continue on Gulu - Patiko Rd for approximately 6 kilometers. Fort Patiko will be on your left side. Be sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.

  • Public Transport (Boda Boda)

    From your location in Masaka, head to the nearest boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand. Inform the driver that you want to go to Fort Patiko. The driver will take you along the main roads, passing through the Masaka roundabout, and onto Ggaba Road. After about 10-15 minutes of travel, you will reach the junction with Gulu - Patiko Rd. Continue on this road for about 6 kilometers until you arrive at Fort Patiko. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting the journey.
