Bicycle
Start from the Masaka Bus Station in the center of town. Head south on the main road (Kampala-Masaka Road) for about 1.5 km until you reach the junction with Bukakata Road. Turn left onto Bukakata Road and continue for approximately 8 km. Look for signs leading to Lake Nabugabo. You will find Nabugabo Holiday Centre on your right, just off the road near the lake.
Walking
From the Masaka Market, walk towards the main road (Kampala-Masaka Road) and head south. After about 1 km, you will arrive at the Bukakata Road junction. Turn left onto Bukakata Road and walk for about 8 km. Watch for signage indicating Lake Nabugabo, and Nabugabo Holiday Centre will be on your right, adjacent to the lake.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
At any point in Masaka, you can hail a boda boda. Tell the driver you want to go to Nabugabo Holiday Centre, located off Bukakata Road. The driver will take you directly there, which is approximately a 15-20 minute ride from central Masaka, depending on traffic. Make sure to mention that it's near Lake Nabugabo to avoid any confusion.
Public Transport (Matatu)
Head to the designated matatu stage in Masaka, where you can find shared taxis heading towards Bukakata. Board one of these matatus and inform the conductor that you are going to Nabugabo or Lake Nabugabo. The matatu will take you along Bukakata Road. Get off when you reach the area near the lake, and walk approximately 500 meters to reach Nabugabo Holiday Centre.
