Walking
From the center of Mbale, head northwest on Republic Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Naboa Road. Turn left onto Naboa Road and proceed until you reach the Mbale Church of Uganda. From there, continue straight on Naboa Road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Sironko Road. Follow Sironko Road for approximately 2 kilometers until you see a sign for Kyakondo Falls. Turn right onto the dirt path leading to the falls. It is about a 15-minute walk from the main road to the falls.

Start from Mbale Town and rent a bicycle from a local shop. Head northwest on Republic Street and take a left onto Naboa Road. Continue cycling straight until you reach the Mbale Church of Uganda. After passing the church, keep going straight on Naboa Road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Sironko Road. Cycle along Sironko Road for about 2 kilometers until you see a sign for Kyakondo Falls. Turn right onto the dirt path leading to the falls. The journey should take around 30 minutes by bicycle, including the final walk to the falls.

From any location in Mbale, you can hire a boda boda (motorbike taxi) to take you to Kyakondo Falls. Inform the driver to take you to the falls, and they will navigate through the streets.
