Walking
From the Mbarara Main Market, head east on Station Road until you reach the junction with High Street (about 1 km). Turn right onto High Street and continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end. Take the first exit onto Bushenyi Road and walk approximately 1.5 km until you see the signs for Omugabe Palace on your left.
Bicycle
Start at the Mbarara Main Market. Take Station Road heading east for about 1 km. After reaching the junction with High Street, turn right and continue along High Street for about 800 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Bushenyi Road. Continue cycling for about 1.5 km, and look for the signs for Omugabe Palace on your left.
Public Transport
From Mbarara Main Market, take a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to the Omugabe Palace. Inform the driver that you want to go to Omugabe Palace, and they will know the location. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost approximately 1,000 to 2,000 UGX.
