    Walking

    Begin your journey at the Mbarara Central Market, a well-known landmark in Mbarara. Exit the market and head east on High Street towards the Main Post Office. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rukonjo Road. Take a left onto Rukonjo Road and continue straight, passing local shops and eateries. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the sign for Rwizi River on your right. Follow the pathway leading down to the riverbank where the falls are located.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Mbarara Central Market. Start your ride heading east on High Street. Continue straight, passing the Main Post Office, and take a left onto Rukonjo Road. Cycle along Rukonjo Road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the sign for Rwizi River. There is a pathway leading down to the falls. Please be cautious of road traffic and ensure you are wearing a helmet for safety.

    Public Transport (Boda Boda)

    From your location in Mbarara, find a nearby boda boda (motorcycle taxi). Inform the rider that you would like to go to the Rwizi Falls. The rider will take you along Rukonjo Road, and within a short ride of approximately 10-15 minutes, you will arrive near the falls. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The boda boda will drop you off at Rwizi River, where you can access the falls.
